IC&RC Releases Co-Occurring Disorders White Paper

In June, IC&RC released white papers on the necessity for credentialing of Alcohol and Drug Counselors (ADC), Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselors (AADC), and Clinical Supervisors (CS). Since then, the organization's Co-Occurring Disorders Committee has prepared a white paper on its credential.

"Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health Disorder: The Future of Our Workforce Is Now" can be used to educate legislators, treatment providers, educational programs, and others about the role of credentialing in maintaining quality treatment.
